Set Up Post Install Events

AdColony is capable of receiving postbacks for post-install events for optimization purposes. Below are postback set up instructions for some of our top integrated tracking partners:

Adjust

To set up event postbacks in the Adjust Console, you will need to be signed up for “Special Partners”, a module that offers an extended integration for recording data that cannot be accessed through Adjust’s standard integration. Each post-install action has a different endpoint in the Appsflyer system that matches what is set up at the time of SDK integration. To set up a post-install event in the module:

1.  Navigate to the app you wish to edit.
2. Click the “Settings” tool.

3. On the popup screen, select “Partner Setup”.

4. Under the AdColony integration section, toggle the “Enabled” button ON for session and revenue forwarding events. We strongly recommend sending Open, Session, and Purchase events.

Note: if you would like to pass revenue values for purchase events, you will need to toggle ON the box next to “Revenue Forwarding”.

5. In the Event Linking section, for each SDK event select the endpoint that maps with the event you’d like to send post-install data for.

6. Click “Save” at the bottom of the popup. This will pass all events to AdColony and Adjust will pass a flag within the postback telling our system which install events to attribute to your campaigns.
